Invention Background

Back in year 2000 when JIZAN crisis in Saudi Arabia occurred spreading the Rift Valley Fever, RVF, a dreadful disease caused by a simple sting of infected Mosquito carrying the infection vector resulting in the death of many innocent human lives beside the millions of live-stoke destroyed to avoid the multiply of RVF among humans.

It was observed that the control measures carried by the relative authorities were purely focused on preventing the spread of RVF among humans by concentrating on the geographical areas where humans and their live stock lives together and ignored the outside areas where no humans or animals regardless to the vector existing and freely multiplying in the surrounding areas.

In questioning and analyzing this observation, we realized that the reasons behind such methodology was that the applied products had a limited effects in covering the huge geographical areas where the RVF `s vector is spreading, in short, the applied products have a distribution limitation over a given area together with a huge side toxic residual effects and quickly dissolve in the stagnant pools where the disease vector carried by the mosquitoes find a perfect environment to survive and multiply in the JIZAN wild nature.

This had turned our eyes to the importance to study the Mosquitoes life cycle, the way it multiply from being a larva, adulthood then death, a cycle do not exceed one week, however millions and millions of mosquitoes can accrue in a single week providing the perfect and suitable environment - JIZAN- of stagnant pools, ponds, lakes combined with high temperature and humidity are available.

In conclusion, the rate of population multiplication of mosquitoes were much higher than the rate of product application to the level that product application had to be applied in weekly bases just to overcome the population life cycle the reason made all traditional methods of control focus on targeted areas where human and life stock exist rather than eradication the disease itself.

We quickly learned that this problem of control measures were not just a local problem but also a global one, every year millions of people and animals around the world specifically in hot and poor countries lose their lives as a result of vector born diseases carried and caused by a simple mosquito bite.

The above observations and conclusions had led us to look into the chemical and physical properties of the applied products at which were having the following features.

1. Highly toxic for both human and environment consisting of 50% poison concentrate when diluted for application.

2. Quickly dissolve and breakdown in water.

3. Due to its liquid compound when applied, it has a limited distribution effect over a large infected  areas, thus huge volume will have to be used, thus causes both toxic and high costs related negative impacts.

4. Due to the large volume of products applied, Mosquitoes are more likely to develop resistance to the products at which creates a stronger strain resisting the products at which could lead to either postpone the application or increase the strength of the compound resulting in more toxicity.

The only effective and available products on controlling, wiping and basically killing not only Mosquitoes but every thing in its way, in another words the available products are of one family compounds with deadly effects on all livings without distinction or a specific action.

For example if these products are applied on lakes or ponds then not only the larva of infected mosquitoes will be effected but also all living contents in the applied media such as fish, planktons, plantations and any other creatures which means that the applied products have No Specific Action.

At this stage we realized that the functional products are used as a traditional and for almost 100 years humanity have not attempted to find or to develop alternatives. I decided to do something anything except nothing.

We started to identify and define the new product and give it the following properties even before we attempted to invent it. The new product must have the following features.

1) Lower toxicity
2) Shield and protected from broken down or dissolved in the applied environment.
3) Large distribution properties over large applied areas.
4) Significant reduction in the volume applied.
5) Longevity effects to reduce the rate of application.
6) Specific action targeting the Mosquitoes only.

We looked into every possible previous and available research and none of which could actually provide or deliver the above,The invention started to arise and the idea started to develop in our R&D mind.

Conclusively and after a huge investment plan we have successfully developed a range of product s which were tested and tried giving the efficiency factors stated above.

The products were tested by an internationally renowned university in UK and more than 200 laboratory results were carried out and compared with the traditional product range.

The results had shown a cost effective and cost benefit effects which had concluded with a trial order with our MOH.

We are currently developing the manufacturing procedures to produce our formula under internationally recognised bodies to implement the trial order with external monitoring agencies for field applications.

We are planning to invest and attract partners with more capital to extend our research to practical and economical applications where successful trials can be continued to large production scale for both local and international distributions.

Our organisation is also planning to announce all its results to the public on our site once the products are finally registered in the GCC patent office so customers, researchers and relative institutes can benefit from our invention.
